Dr Nagmani earned his doctorate on "Diverse Precursor Based Hard Carbon Anode for Sodium-ion and Potassium-ion Batteries" at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur under the supervision of Professor Dr Sreeraj Puravankara
Currently, he is working as a Project Scientist at the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Earlier he worked at the International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad as a Postdoctoral Research Associate to scale up sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries.
